Dragon Age: Origins UE, Mass Effect 1/3 Sales (1/23-1/28)

The pc digital download version of Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition is currently listed in the offers section of Origin for $10 (60% off). Origin also lists Mass Effect 1 for $6.99 (53% off). Gamefly is offering the pc digital download keys of Mass Effect 3 (for Origin) for $14.99 (50% off). Frankly, these offers are a step down from the discounts we saw just earlier this month, but if you want it NOW!, here are your money-saving options.

20% off Mass Effect 3 (Digital Preorder) @ Direct2Drive

Gamefly's digital distribution storefront Direct2Drive is offering a discount code for 20% off your entire order, including sale items and preorders, today only as a part of their 12 Days of Christmas promotion. Notably, you can use this discount on Mass Effect 3 Standard ($47 after discounts) and Digital Deluxe ($58 after discounts) edition preorders, which are already 10% off. The 20% discount offer is in effect for both D2D's US and UK/Europe storefronts, although they use different codes. Read More

10% off Digital Mass Effect 3 Pre-Orders at Amazon

It's mid-November, which means that ridiculously-decorated stores, insanity-inducing soundtracks, and brawls over the toy du joeur are right around the corner, if not already upon us. However, it also means sales and discounts (and something about family or Jesus or Steam sales). If you're looking to treat yourself before the gift shopping mood is upon you. You can follow us below the break for some savings on Mass Effect 3 pre-orders. Read More

Mass Effect 3 (XBox) for $16.99 (43% off)

Newegg (U.S. only) is offering the XBox version of Mass Effect for $16.99, which is $13 savings off of the MRSP of $29.99 (43% off). Not the best sale I've seen for this game, but at the moment, it is one of the lowest offers for the Xbox version, which notably offers Kinect-enabled voice commands for singleplayer squad control. This item is a part of Newegg's current 48-hour sale, which started at 12:01 am PT on January 15th and runs until the end of the day on January 17th.

BioWare Points Sale? (UK/Europe)

According to user posts at Rock Paper Shotgun, BioWare has sneakily discounted their 1200 BioWare Points package to £4.33, which is usually the cost of 560 BioWare Points. However, you cannot simply buy the 1200 points directly from the points.bioware.com interface, you have to initiate a purchase for DLC from the official BioWare DLC pages, and then you'll be offered the option of buying the discounted 1200 points. Thanks to JamesG for the heads up, and Bonim28 for the tip!

Mass Effect 3 Collector’s Edition (XBox) for $59 at Overstock

Currently, Overstock.com is offering the Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition (XBox) preorder for $69.20. Coincidentally, group-buy website Eversave (similar to Groupon, Living Social) is offering a(n instantly available) voucher for $20 of Overstock.com credit for the asking price of $10. Using the Eversave deal, which is available for the next two days, you end up shaving an additional $10 off of Overstock's asking price. Unfortunately, they only carry the XBox version of the Collector's Edition, but you can also apply the credit towards any other product on their website, including the Mass Effect 3 standard editions (PC, XBox, PS3), which are ~$55 each. London Philharmonic Orchestra: Greatest Video Game Music sale

Amazon.com currently has the Greatest Video Game Music (Amazon Bonus Track Edition) mp3 soundtrack, as interpreted by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, on sale for $3 (normally $18.50). Mass Effect 2's "Suicide Mission" orchestral reinterpretation appears as #15 on this 22-track list of distinguished greats. This introductory price is the November 7th daily mp3 deal, so if you like the cut of their jib, you better grab it asap.

Update: Furthermore, it looks like Amazon has extended the duration of the sale price AND is offering a free $1 credit towards this album using the code GAMESMP3, knocking the total price down to a mere $2 for all 22 tracks. Read More

Mass Effect 3 for $48 at Newegg (Preorder)

For those of you in the U.S., you may be interested in Newegg's weekend promotion on physical copies of Mass Effect 3 (Standard Edition) PC/XBox/PS3 preorders. Promo code EMCYTZT1034 drops the asking price from $60 to $48 (20% discount). Your email address must be subscribed to their newsletter to use the code. Personally, as a fan, I would go for a physical collector's edition, but unfortunately that is not the deal being featured here. Still, you can save a few bucks, and use that to cover most of a month of SWTOR, perhaps.

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate and Mass Effect 2 (PC) Sale

If you're in the U.S., you may be interested in Best Buy's holiday offer for physical copies of these BioWare PC titles: Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition for $8, and Mass Effect 2 for $5. Much better than your average stocking stuffers, if you ask me. The product codes should also register with Origin, affording you a digital copy that you can download from Origin in the future (should you lose the disc).

Pre-Black-Friday Deals on Origin: Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 2

Origin is currently offering both Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition pc digital downloads for $10 each. Combine that with the Origin offer for $10 of credit towards a December purchase for an excellent deal value. Considering that no digital download store can resist running a holiday-themed sale event in December, you may ultimately be able to snag 2 or more major titles for that initial $10 investment.
