BioWare's Mike Laidlaw will be speaking at an anime panel at SXSW (Austin, TX, USA) this Saturday, March 10th, about the upcoming anime film, Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker.
I've just updated the Dragon Age: Legends Skill Builder (talent calculator) to add the three new specialization trees for each class. In the game, you can unlock each one with one of three new castle room options. I'm not aware of any limitations on specializations, so I assume that you can invest in all three new trees of your class concurrently, should you so choose. Read More

Dark Horse's blog has recently published a short interview with Dragon Age writer David Gaider, who has penned the upcoming new Dragon Age comic series showcasing some companions you may recognize from the Dragon Age games. The most intriguing tidbit is probably the mention of a solid release date for the first issue - February 22 - and that it will only be available digitally through Dark Horse Comics. Ah hah! Found the clip of the Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker movie combat scene that aired on G4TV's X-Play a couple of nights ago. It showcases more of the computer animation work and how that meshes with a more classic cell-shaded animation style when face-paced combat is portrayed. This also comes with the news that "Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker won't be out until later this year," according to the G4TV post (this only applies to the English direct-to-video release). BSN member Athenas_Wrath has put together an excellent overview of all the companion/follower/party-member npcs you can obtain in Dragon Age: Legends. The guide includes a list of skills each companion member can obtain by the endgame, as well as comments about their value in a party composition. Other forum members have also contributed interesting facts like gold costs for upgrading follower rooms and so forth.
In a recent Wired article, BioWare bigwig Ray Muzyka mentions that Dragon Age 3 may be drawing some inspiration from the open world nature of another dragon-filled smash-hit RPG: Skyrim. As expected, most details are hush hush for now, and there was no peep about the playable dragon multiplayer rumor, but Mike Laidlaw was able to add that, "Follower armor is confirmed, though how that works exactly is for later."
