BioWare just released the texture artwork for Tallis' costume in the hopes that cosplayers and fan artists can use this resource for their projects. Anyone who shows up to BioWare's Dragon Age panel on October 15th at NY Comic Con with a completed Tallis costume will receive a prize for their efforts. Also, those who can tweet their fan art and/or photos to @dragonage with the hashtags #dragonage and #fanart will have an additional chance to win something. Mass Effect 3 announcement teased in the EA Vegas Games Show live blog
Apparently a presentation of Mass Effect 3 with a special announcement was made today at the EA Vegas Games Show, but thanks to a news embargo placed by EA, no one in-the-know is allowed to publish anything about it yet. EA Live Blogger Andy Katkin was mostly tight lipped about it, but he mentioned that it is an "exciting announcement" and that we'll find out within this week. Read More
Wrath of Heroes Beta Schedule for September 29-October 1
Although there's no official post about it yet, the WOH Facebook banner has been updated with the testing schedule for this week. Unfortunately, Sunday sessions will not be a mainstay, but Friday seems to have an extra long play session that lasts most of the day. Read More
Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition for $7.50 (PCDD) at D2D
This weekend, Direct2Drive has Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition for 75% off ($7.50) pc digital download as a part of it's EA Weekend Sale. This is a new price low for this bundle, which includes the original Dragon Age: Origins, all of its premium DLC (including the deluxe edition contents), and the expansion campaign Awakening. Unfortunately, this sale price is only available to the United States and Canada.
On a similar note, Dragon Age: Origins Awakening is on sale for 50% off (1200 xbox points or $15) at the Xbox Live "Extreme Shopping Sale," which will last until October 4th.

Someone at BioWare accidentally trolled the entire SWTOR community with beta tester survey emails. There was also a security/phishing scare related to that email, but the suspicious code was later identified as a tracking tool.

BioWare Pulse – Episode 43
This Thursday's BioWare Pulse episode featured an 8-minute look at the Dragon Age 2: Mark of the Assassin DLC, with some details narrated by Mike Laidlaw. Although the DLC doesn't actually take place in Orlais - the DLC takes place at the edges of the Vimmark Mountains - the architecture is Orlesian in style. He also confirms that a certain party member will have some interesting tie-ins to this caper story. Video after the break. Read More

You may have spotted in yesterday's Kotaku article - about Felicia Day demo'ing Dragon Age 2: Mark of the Assassin DLC - the bit of information about her upcoming web series Dragon Age: Redemption being split into six episodes that will be released weekly starting on October 11th, but Felicia Day also added (via Google Plus and Twitter) that you will be able to find these episodes on Machinima's Youtube channel when the time comes.
