Because 8-bit music is awesome. Link to the download included. The author recently added the MIDI version to the download options.
I had some free time last weekend and decided to learn how to use a tracker to compose music, since it's something I do for fun sort-of, and finale can be annoying with all the pointing and clicking. Initially I was using OpenMPT, however after a few internet queries I found the FamiTracker, a program for writing NES/FamiComp music. Since the NES was my first game console as a kid, and remembering 8-bit music/chiptunes are the greatest, as a project I decided to write the galaxy map song in FamiTracker using the VRC6 expansion chip since the song is equally great. I suppose this can also make up for Aquarium club's lack of new videos uploads.
The Ending might seem to just cut off, but that is because I arranged the song to seamlessly loop.
Anyway, I thought this song was a worthy youtube upload, so I spent a bit of time and made a GIF of what a NES-like galaxy map might look like for nostalgia's sake. Plus it seems everyone who made 8-bit music videos for games did the same, and conforming is fun.
