We pointed out a few months ago that, aside from a WiiWare release, Bioware's old third-person shooter MDK 2 is getting an HD remake. We've gotten a look at new screenshots of the makeover, which you can check out below the break.
Russian gaming blog Playground has put together a comparison page detailing the graphical improvements put into the HD remake. The facelift is quite a looker. We can see that, aside from increased texture and resolution quality, the game also sports a higher polygon count and improved lighting effects.
MDK2 HD will be released sometime in September for $14.99 USD. It will be exclusive to the relatively little-known digital platform Beamdog, started by Bioware former co-founder Trent Oster, who is also working on the remake with some former BioWare veterans under the "Overhaul Games" moniker.
You can also go to the game's Facebook page and to make suggestions to the production team.
