Release date of SWTOR depends on how well the September/October Beta Weekends perform (the article adds in the /October).
Apparently, if you get selected for beta testing in the SWTOR Beta Testing Weekends, you will only have access to the game for that specific weekend. Different groups of invitees will be cycled in each weekend.
The newest tale in the Mass Effect universe, Mass Effect: Invasion, will come to us in comic form on October 19, telling the tale of asari Aria T'Loak, pirate queen of Omega Station. This story is supposed to tie into the events of Mass Effect 3.

If you haven't heard, redheads dominate. As revealed on BioWare TV this weekend, RedShep won the FemShep poll by a landslide. Expect to see this flame haired lady on the collectors tin and in her own ME3 marketing videos. BioWare's new concept artist Patryk Olejniczak commemorated this moment with a wallpaper, as did the official site.
